An Easy & Figure Flattering Shift Dress

A shift dress is breezy allowing you to stay cool yet remain professional looking in the office. Details such as scalloped hems, tie waists and pinstripes keep you on trend and feminine.

Sleeveless Tops

Update the classic long-sleeve white button down shirt for a sleeveless style with a statement detail, like ruffles and peplum, lace and embroidery, and wrap or side-tie. When you get hot mid-day, you’ll still be appropriately covered while in the office. Wearing a breathable silky tank under your blazers and waistcoats is also an option, if jackets can’t be removed and you don’t want a feel of a second layer underneath.

Light Blazer & Waistcoat

Avoid overheating with seasonal blazers in light weight breathable materials like cottons and linens, as well as lighter colors—meaning less traditional blacks and dark grays and more whites, creams, blushes, and pale blues. For a more casual work environment – if appropriate – a denim jacket is a great alternative and a trusty summer go-to.

Power Pencil Skirt

You can never go wrong with a long lean pencil skirt especially in summer. Stay with neutral, soft muted summer tones which can be paired with any blouse. Go for a higher rise to define your waist, making sure the hemline hits at the smallest part of our leg or slightly above the knee for a flattering and elongating look.

Trouser

Incorporate some fashion-forward pieces into your work wardrobe by mixing in cool culottes, wide-leg pants or cropped trouser. Again, stick with the lightweight materials and colors to stay fresh and trendy.
